Bean Brothers New Premises & Roastery Move

As some of you who follow us on social media may already know, we have started to move the roastery to our new larger premises. Bean Brothers have operated out of Fairfield Mills since 2012 and have now outgrown the unit we occupied. We aren’t going very far, in fact only about 250 metres as the crow flies, literally just around the corner to Britania Mills. Our new building is much larger and more equipped to cater for the company’s growing needs and should serve us well for many years to come.

As you can probably appreciate, it’s not a quick, easy process and we’ve done our best to keep the move from affecting the day to day operational aspect of the business. But of course there could be the odd hiccup here and there, please be assured, we will endeavor to keep any disruption to an absolute minimum.

Eventually the new premises will be open to the public for retail and for collections of online orders when we have completed the move - watch this space.

Going greener… all our coffee bags are now 100% ♻ recyclable.

With enviromental issues being at the very forefront of our minds and knowing how polluting the coffee industry can be, here at Bean Brothers we are striving to reduce the waste we produce by introducing recyclable bags for all of our products. .

Continuing in this theme, we now provide reuseable, small (2kg and 9kg capacity) food grade plastic containers for our local trade customers. The empty containers are collected and reused each delivery. Any customers that are not currently participating in this reuse scheme who would like to be included - let us know via email or give us a call.
